This course examines basic and applied concepts of toxicology in environmental, workplace, and climate-related settings, with a focus on those agents that elicit adverse health effects. Mechanisms of injury to various body systems following exposure to toxicants are examined at the systemic, organ, cellular, molecular and genetic level, with particular reference to human disease and public health.

This course provides an in-depth examination of climate, environmental and occupational health regulations, policies and practices by governmental agencies and other health-related entities at the local, state, national and international level.
